HARPER, Dennis Earl, of Tampa and Orlando passed away May 16, 2013 at age 72. Dennis, lovingly known as “Uncle Buck’ by his nieces and nephews was a veteran of the United States Air Force as well as an avid sports fan, especially when it came to the Minnesota Twins. Predeceased by his parents, Walter and Hazel Harper of Tampa and his brother-in-law Dr. Leslie Tavares of Brandon; Dennis is survived by his loving sister Sandra and her husband Wayne and their children Richard Huffman and his wife Kathy and Scott Huffman; another sister Paulette Harper Tavares, and her children Larissa Tavares and Alex Tavares and his wife Susan; and his brother James Harper and his wife Alice and their children Vincent Harper and his wife Leslie and Marcus Harper. Graveside services will be Thursday May 23, 2013 at 11 am at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Tampa FL
