Edwin Dean Rowland

ROWLAND, Edwin Dean, 53, of Valrico passed away on January 28, 2017. There will be a viewing on Thursday, February 2, from 8-9 am, followed by a service at 10 am, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Valrico. Graveside services will be at Hillsboro Memorial. All are welcome to attend that knew and loved Edwin. Edwin was born in Lakeland, Florida on October 30, 1963 to Frances Gloria and Henry Daniel Rowland Sr.. He graduated from Plant City High School in 1981. Edwin was married to his high school sweetheart, Daphine (Hall) Rowland. They were married for 35 years. Edwin is survived by his spouse, Daphine, children, Sara (Benjamin) Tullos, Gilmer, TX, Josiah Rowland, Riverview, Tiara & Emeral Rowland, Valrico; brothers, Ocie D. Rowland (Zelda), Roger L. Rowland (Lorna) and Robert L. (Davitta) Rowland; sisters, Gloria D. Chapman and Rhonda D. Hernandez, as well as twin grandsons, Jett and Tristan Tullos. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and father to many. He is preceded in death by his mother, Frances Gloria (Lumley) Rowland and father, Henry Daniel Rowland Sr. as well as his oldest brother, Henry Daniel Rowland, Jr. all of Plant City. His contagious smile, love for the Lord and always lending a helping hand will truly be missed.
