

She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Ronald Wesley Rickman; son, Ron Rickman, Jr. (Lisa) of Plant City, FL; daughter, Susan Alyea (Robert) of Hebron, IN; sisters, Marnell McMichael (Dennis) of Thomson, GA; Sherry Howard (Harold) of Sun City Center, FL; Carol Wakely (Darrell) of Titusville, FL; and brother, Fred (Tommy) Duncan of Tampa, FL. She is also survived by granddaughters Meagan Rickman, Elizabeth Alyea, Breanna Solomon (Carl); grandson Joshua Alyea (Aimee); great-grandchildren Brayden, Dallas, Tyler, Carson, Brody, Connor, Caleb, Gavin, Greyson, Zoey; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Belmont Duncan, and mother, Edna Gail Duncan.
Beth was born on July 27, 1943, in Stuttgart, Arkansas. She graduated from East Bay High School in 1962 and worked in Food Services for Hillsborough County Public Schools for 27 years. A devout Christian, she belonged to the First Free Will Baptist Church of Seffner, FL. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and spending time with loved ones.
Visitation with the family will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at noon on March 5, 2025, at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, 2323 W Brandon Blvd., Brandon, FL 33511. Pastor Will Beauchamp will officiate the ceremony. A reception will follow at First Free Will Baptist Church of Seffner, FL. Attendance to honor Beth's life is open to all.
