Frances Emily Midkiff, nee Tinker, passed away peacefully in Temple Terrace, Florida on April 24, 2025 at the age of 97. Frances is survived by two daughters, Kathryn J. Ryall, husband Robert Ryall, of Valrico, FL, and Sharon M. Randolph, husband Gerald Randolph, of Polebridge, MT. She is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert H. Midkiff.
Frances was born in Mountain Lake, MN on September 1, 1927, to Lyda and Fred Tinker. She is a graduate of Hamline University School of Nursing and worked as a registered nurse for many years. She enjoyed cooking and sewing. She made numerous quilts and Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls that she gave to many of her loved ones.
Frances will be laid to rest in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, with family and friends attending a graveside service.
