

Fredy is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Enid Garcia; three children, Fredysberto Emanuel Garcia, Evelina Padilla and Christina Garcia-Allen; his sons-in-law: Jerry Allen and Daniel Padilla; and seven grandchildren: Hailey, Anthony and Alena Allen, along with Eliana, Evelys, Daniel Elias and David Eliseo Padilla.
He also leaves behind his loving mother Clotilde Garcia, his dear siblings: Mirta Garcia, Nyvia Negron, Michael Garcia, Elaine Velazquez and Jesse Garcia, as well as many more loved extended family members.
Born in Lakewood, New Jersey, Fredy grew up in New Jersey. He served in the Army for 18 years, retiring as Seargeant First Class. Following his military service, he relocated to Tampa, Florida, where he dedicated more than 20 additional years in public service.
Fredy’s life was marked by his unwavering faith in the LORD, his immense love for his family, and deep pride in his country. He carried joy wherever he went, always ready with a warm smile, a hearty laugh, and a quick joke to brighten someone’s day. His presence brought comfort and happiness to many. He is forever loved!
The family will receive family and friends for Visitation on Friday, February 27, 2026, between 10AM and 11AM at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 2323 W Brandon Blvd, Brandon FL 33511. Service will begin at 11AM to 12PM at the funeral home, followed by Interment at 2 PM at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513. There will be no funeral procession due to the distance between the funeral home and the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a local church or veteran charity of choice.
