

George is preceded in death by his parents Armando Beiro and Aurora Badillo, his brothers Norberto Beiro, Armando Beiro and Ulysses Beiro.
He is survived by his daughters Mercedes Beiro, Kelly Beiro and their mother Evelia Beiro. His grand children Andrea Beaver (Christy) and Mercy Baker (Josh). His great grand-children Dylan Murphy (Sara), Ethan Murphy, Jaden Beaver, Jordan Murphy, and Jessica Baker. His great-great grand-children Bryson and Annalyse Arroyo.
George worked as a commercial baker from his teen years in the late 1940s to his retirement in the mid 1980s at Holsum Bakery which became Wonder Bread. Over the years he worked in several departments, served as union president, and made life-long friends. During retirement he continued working as a building maintenance supervisor.
In the 1960s he was a founding member of the West Tampa “Sherife” Association Social Club. He was also a member of the Wellswood Optimist Club. Until a few years ago, he was a regular with the early morning gang at El Gallo de Oro in West Tampa where, lifelong friends from “the neighborhood” and Wonder Bread Bakery met to shoot the breeze.
George was a skilled carpenter and very capable electrician having learned those skills from his brothers Armando (carpenter) and Norberto (electrician). Every house he lived in was meticulously maintained inside and out. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed spending time with his friends. He was well-loved and cared for by his eldest daughter Mercedes for the last 20 years.
The family will be celebrating his life in an intimate family gathering.
