Gregory was born on July 9, 1947 in Lowell, Massachusetts to Mary (Mae) Fitzpatrick Sullivan and Ernest George Sullivan.
In 1965, at the age of 18, he joined the Navy where he served on the USS Hartley DE1029 and the Richard E Kraus DD 849.
In 1965 he met Janet Roberts and they wed in 1967, going on to have 2 children, son Eric Michael and daughter Shannon Denise.
After retiring from Mosaic in 2014 he spent his time gardening, riding his Harley, and spending time with his family.
Greg was predeceased by his parents and his brothers Ralph and David. He is survived by his wife Janet, his son Eric (wife Chris), his daughter Shannon, his grandsons Andrew, James, and Skyler, his sister Donna (husband Chris), his brother Richard, 3 nieces and 5 nephews.
