Hazel Yvonne Longbottom

LONGBOTTOM, Hazel Yvonne, age 84, of Wesley Chapel, a former Valrico resident died Saturday December 26, 2015 at her home. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Holy Innocents Episcopal Church, 604 N. Valrico Rd, Valrico, Florida 33594. Reception to follow the service in the church parish.

Hazel was an active member of Holy Innocents Episcopal Church in Valrico, Florida for many years before becoming an active member of the Church of the Good Shepard in Galax, Virginia. Hazel enjoyed singing in the church choir at both locations and loved the many years she spent with Brian at their vacation home in Galax, Virginia.

Hazel is survived by her husband Brian W. Longbottom. They recently celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary together. Hazel was a loving mother to four children, Joanne A. Kuczynski, Kim D. Miller, Ward G. Longbottom, M.D., and Yvonne Mills, six grandchildren, Bridgette A. DeMay, Christine M. Kuczynski-Weihe, Aaron C. DeMay, Michael C. Kuczynski, Gregory D. Longbottom and Brian C. Longbottom, and two great grandchildren, Jordan P. DeMay and Taylor A. DeMay. Hazel is also survived by two sisters who reside in England, Betty Scott and Pauline England.
