Kawer, Helene, 65, of Sun City Center, entered into rest Wednesday, July 31, 2013. She loved life and had numerous hobbies and interests including being the Vice President of the Sun City Center Mahjong Club, needlepoint, reading, Elvis, crossword puzzles, Scrabble and the Tampa Bay Rays. She was preceded in death by her father, Louis Ochsman. Survivors include her husband, Harvey Kawer; son, Mark Kawer; daughters, Lisa Kawer Freihammer (Troy), Noelle Kawer Deane (Grant), and Pamela Kawer Cohen; mother, Beatrice Ochsman; brother, Stuart Ochsman; sister, Iris Finkel (Leonard); and grandson, Lucas Cohen. Funeral service will be held 11 AM Sunday, August 4 at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, Brandon. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to LifePath Hospice, 12470 Telecom Drive, Suite 300 West, Temple Terrace, FL 33637 in Helene’s honor. Helene will be deeply missed by her friends and family, but will live on in their hearts and memories.
