
Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother,Great-Grandmother and Friend
Iva Jane Miller, 88, of Tampa, FL, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2025. She was born on April 26, 1937, in Washington, PA. Iva Jane was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Miller, with whom she shared 54 years of marriage until his passing in 2010.
A proud graduate of Chartiers High School, class of 1955, Iva Jane married Donald Miller in June of 1956, and together they raised two sons, Rodney Miller of Tampa, and Roger Miller (Trina) of Plant City, FL. She was also a devoted grandmother and cherished her time with family and friends.
Iva Jane's life was marked by her passion for bowling, a sport she loved dearly. She began her bowling journey in 1968 and continued to bowl in two leagues at Oakfield Lanes up until shortly before her passing. A fixture in the local bowling community, she was a proud member of the 20 and 500 Club for over 30 years. She also served as the secretary and treasurer of her league for many years, contributing to the growth and success of the local bowling community.
Her faith was another cornerstone of her life. Iva Jane was an active member of Destiny Church in Ruskin, FL, for nearly 40 years, where she rarely missed a Sunday service and was deeply involved in church activities.
Iva Jane's kindness, loyalty, and love for her family, church, and community will be remembered by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Bob Lewis, her sons, Rodney and Roger, and her many friends and family members who were touched by her spirit and devotion.
A celebration of life will be held at Destiny Church of Ruskin at 12:00pm on October 18th. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Destiny Church or Lifepath Hospice.
She will be greatly missed, but her memory and legacy of love, faith, and dedication will continue to inspire those who knew her.
