James A. Melton Jr., loving known as Sonny, 74 of Tampa passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 4, 2012. He was born on September 17, 1937 in Summer, Georgia to James and Lessie Melton. He was predeceased in death by his brother, Smallwood “Joe” Melton. Sonny is survived by his step-sons, John and wife, Patricia Reagan and Rob Duffany; step-daughters, Sheila Berg, Carol Lawhorne and Patricia Duffany; sisters, Lizzie Salter, Eunice Alexander and Carrie Asay; and granddaughter, Nichole Grace Reagan. Sonny will be deeply missed.
