Jason Dewey

April 18, 1977 – August 27, 2025

Born in Syracuse, New York, Jason was the son of Theresa Jefferson and Don Dewey; the stepson of Steven C. Jefferson and Kathy Dewey. He grew up in a true modern family, including his brothers Donnie Dewey (Evelyn), Spencer Dewey (Julie), and Steven B. Jefferson (Shelly), and his sisters Michelle Champagne (Bob), and Kirsten Dewey (Matthew). Jason was also the proud father of his son, Ezykiel Dewey, who was the joy of his life.(nicknamed Ezy after his college baseball coach) Jason also leaves behind 5 nephews, 4 nieces, multiple cousins, aunts and uncles in both Florida, New York and other areas.

Jason's life journey spanned continents, beginning with his passion in grassroots baseball both as a player and a coach. His love for music brought him to his second career as an international DJ where he will be remembered for his creativity, versatility, and high-energy performances. He entertained audiences on various stages throughout his life, and with the deepest appreciation his family is so grateful for the tributes that have been shared by many.

Jason Dewey will be remembered as a loving father, son, brother, coach, and artist. His legacy will live on through his adorable son, the memories he made, the lives he touched, and the music he shared.
