Jay David Hirsch 70, born April 24th, 1949 in Pasadena, CA passed away unexpectedly December’s 10th, 2019 in Tampa, FL. He was the best dad to his children, Meredith, Dustin and Hope and was a good friend to their mother Elizabeth. He was the beloved son of the late Gus and Virginia (Grob) Hirsch and younger brother of the late Joel Hirsch. Jay was a dear uncle, cousin, in-law and friend. He will be greatly missed by many.
Jay graduated from Lyons Township High School in 1967 and went on to the University of Michigan and graduate from there in 1972. He was a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries. He retired in 2016 from Principal Financial in Des Moines, IA. He was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and University of Michigan football.
The family will be having a private memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Jay’s name to the American Diabetes Association.
