She was born on February 28, 1944 in Wheeling, West Virginia to the late Jean and Louis Wesley Groppe.
Jean is survived by her children, April Y. Spellmeyer, Ray Davis Jr.; grandchildren, Taylor Davis, Holly Aponte, Spenser Spellmeyer, Anakin Spellmeyer; great-grandchildren, Adrian Aponte, Bentley Henderson, Ares Aponte; many extended family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Carl W. Knouse; three sisters and two brothers.
A visitation for Jean will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 1:00 PM until the funeral service at 2:00 PM, Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, 2323 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, Florida 33511. Interment will immediately follow in the cemetery gardens.
