Jess was born on December 14, 1938, to Jesse A Rogers Sr and Beulah Bishop Rogers in Seneca Falls, NY.
A farmer, then mechanic by trade for the remainder of his days, Jess was an experienced “fixer of all things”. One of his more notable accomplishments was the building of single-family homes for him and his family members, from drawing up the blueprints to construction of all aspects of the homes (4 in all).
Jess was married to Alice Dunham Rogers until her passing in 2001. He was also pre-deceased by his son, Jesse A Rogers, III.
In November of 2002 he married Mary Caldwell Rogers. He is survived by his beloved Mary, three daughters, Cheryl Rogers Turner, Eva Rogers Barton (Bill), and Evon Rogers Gomis (Corey), four step-children, Kathy West, Mark West (Laura), Karen West Nochella (Rob), and Michael West, his sister, Dorothy “Dot” Gary, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
