She was born on August 19, 1957, in Kansas, to Fred and Ruth Lanier. Jill was a graduate of Robinson High School.
She was preceded in death her parents, and her brother, Jeff Lanier.
Jill is survived by her husband, Jim Floyd; her sons, James (Krista) Floyd III and Jason (Christina) Floyd; her grandchildren, James (Aleesia) Floyd IV and Carrleen Floyd; and her great-grandson, James Floyd V.
Jill enjoyed reading, and traveling with Jim, taking frequent trips to their home in Summerland Key, Las Vegas and visiting 39 of the national parks.
Jill will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her love, her strength, and her unwavering devotion to her family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, on January 24, 2026, from 9:00am to 10:00am. A Funeral and Committal Service will follow.
