Joanne Marie O'Neal

Survivors include daughters Karen (Van) Paulus, Linda (Paul) Lastinger, son Curtis & 10 grandchildren & 20 great grandchildren &1 great-great grandson.

Joanne graduated from Phoenixville High School, Phoenixville, PA. in 1951. She was on the band & yearbook committee & played volleyball & softball. She worked for Goodrich Tire Company for a year. She met Merit O'Neal in April of 1952 & they married Nov. 1, 1952. They were married nearly 68 years at the time of his death.

After coming to Florida, she worked for Nabisco and then Southland Corp. (7-Eleven) in the accounting department before becoming a secretary at LVC.

Joanne has been an active member of Limona Village Chapel UMC since 1956, serving on many committee's, Handball Choir & Chancel Choir. She served as the church secretary for 20 years.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and Limona Village Chapel UMCI. The celebration of Life will be held at LVC located at 408 Limona Road on Monday April 20th at 2:00 PM. The family has requested everyone wear yellow & blue, her favorite color to the service.
