John (Jack) Clyde Archer died peacefully at home on July 5, 2025 in Zephyrhills, Florida at the age of 77. John is survived by his wife, Patricia, Zephyrhills Florida. Son, John E. Archer, Leander, Texas. Daughter, Jennifer Archer, Walker, Michigan. Son, Andrew Archer, Grand Rapids, Michigan. Brother, Bill Archer, Tawas, Michigan. Brother, Bob Archer, Grand Haven, Michigan. Brother, Jerry Archer, Alma, Michigan. He is preceded in death by his parents, Avery and Gretrude Archer. John was born in November 1947 in Edmore, Michigan to Avery and Gertrude Archer. He graduated from Edmore High School in 1965. He had a long and successful career in Banking retiring in 2012. He loved going to the Smoky mountains to see the wildlife. He especially enjoyed the elk. He was an avid sports fan. The Tampa Bay Lightning, The Tampa Bay Rays, and The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were his favorites. But his favorite thing in life was the love of his family.
