McFARLAND, Joyce C., 84, of Plant City passed away February 27, 2012. She was an area resident since 1967 and retired from Buckhorn Elementary School. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy. She is survived by her son, Gary Edward Glisson (Loretta); daughters, Marilyn Methe, Katie McCormick and Jenny Hough; seven grandchildren, Wayne, Eddie, Lore, Shannon, Cody, Kyle and Kelsey; and eight great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, February 29, 2012 with a funeral service at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Stowers Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens. Afterwards, friends and family will gather at Dover Pentecostal Holiness Church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Dover Pentecostal Holiness Church, 14150 Holiness Church Road, Dover, FL 33527, where she was a vital member for over 40 years.
