Juan Ruiz passed away on October 8th 2025 at the age of 89. He was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico on June 28th 1936. Juan was married to his beloved Socorro for 63 years. The two of them created a life in New York City before moving to Florida in 1987.
Juan was the father of Janet Santiago and Robert Ruiz. He was a grandfather to six boys and a great-grandfather of two girls.
He loved baseball, his faith and his family. Although Juan is gone, he will be missed tremendously and live in our hearts forever.
A visitation will be held on October 17, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, located at 2323 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511, United States.
The funeral service will follow on the same day, October 17, 2025, at 2:00 pm at the same location.
A committal service is scheduled on October 17, 2025, at 3:00 pm, at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens.
