Passed away August 16, 2013 at the age of 16 years old, born in Brandon. Katie was a student at Durant High School, who loved her family and animals. Above all else, she had many interests including video games, reading, listening to music and fishing. Katie is predeceased by her grandfather, Don Dixon. Katie is survived by her loving family; parents, Angela and Edward; brother, Michael; grandparents, Ed & Bernice Turney, and Muriel & Robert Perera; Uncle David and Aunt Lisa & Roger Jackson. A memorial gathering will be held Wednesday August 21, 2013 from 6-8 pm with a prayer service and time of remembrance at 7:30 pm at Stowers Funeral Home, 401 W. Brandon Blvd, Brandon.
