Lawrence, Katherine Paulk, 79, of Tampa, passed away August 23, 2011 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Born in Jackson County, Florida and raised in Tampa, Katherine spent most of her younger years helping to care for her five brothers. Then later, put all of her focus on her children and grandchildren. She always gave never took, had a wonderful heart, and was happiest when doing for her family. Katherine was preceded in death by her husband Walter “Curt” Lawrence. She is survived by her sons Larry Lawrence of Naples and Terry (Zoila) Lawrence Sr. of Lakeland; her grandchildren Richard (Bianca) Lawrence of Sarasota, Melissa (Michael) Haynes of Lakeland, Jennifer (Anthony) LaFemina of Naples, TJ (Amanda) Lawrence of Lakeland, Tony (Amy) Guarino of Naples; and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Friday, August 26, at 11 AM at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, Brandon. Katherine will be deeply missed.
