FRANKLIN SR., KENNETH W., 88, of Brandon, FL achieved his life long goal of entering Heaven Thursday, September 9, 2010. Mr. Franklin was a long time Brandon resident and retired minister and elder of the Bell Shoals Church of Christ. A loving and kind husband, father, grandfather and friend, he is survived by daughter, Sherry Lewis and son-in-law, Robert of Nashville, Tennessee; son Ken Franklin, Jr and devoted daughter-in-law, Wyomme of Brandon; grandchildren, Robert Lewis, Jr, Cynthia Lewis Killeen, Lon Lewis, Holly Franklin and Becky Franklin; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded recently in death by his loving and devoted wife, Nora; parents, Walter and Anna. He was the family spiritual leader and example of service to others. His encouragement and his kind, gentle manner will be missed and lovingly remembered by family and many friends. Visitation will be Monday, September 13, from 5:30-7:30 PM with Funeral Services to follow at 7:30 PM at Bell Shoals Church of Christ in Brandon; Graveside Service will be Tuesday, September 14, at 10:00 AM at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens.
