Gone but not forgotten Dave you were a kind soul and a great friend I enjoyed our time working together always a smile or helping hand rest easy till we meet again

I’m missing you so much. I wish I would’ve kept in touch more often. I know you’re in peace now, and I know we will meet again. I know the grief is temporary, I will be with you and Dad again some day. I’m grateful for the amazing childhood memories I had with you. I love you. 

Hi Baby,  well today is our 45th  celebration of our wedding day and boy am I missing you. I just want to tell the whole world how very special you were to me and how you gave me the best 45 years of my life you are the best man there ever was, so very kind, generous to a fault never would tell me no about anything so I was very spoiled. Worked so very hard, And always tried to make me laugh even when I was in so much pain you tried to get my mind off it. And you were so patient with me when I was in pain. But the love I felt was like no other this side of Heaven. Baby I can't wait  till I can be with you once more I just feel so lost without you. But I do have that blessed assurance that I will be with you again because of our Lord and Savior. So darling I will say so long for now, I love you always.  Happy Anniversary.

My sweet David, I don't know how I will go on without you. The 45 years that you have been by my side has been the best of my life and I already miss you so much.  I find myself reaching for your hand because we always held hands every where we went, but it's not there.  The one thing I have to hold on to is I keep telling myself it's just for a little while and we will be together again but it still aches in my heart.  Baby I heard a song and it said (without you, baby I'm not me) and I thought that is just how I feel right now, a large part of me is missing. You were the best part of me.  I love you more than you could ever know,  so I'm going to end this with what you always signed your cards to me with: (I love you then, now and always.) Dear Watson family, I am so sorry to hear of David's passing.  I had not seen David in many years but do remember him from when we were young and they would come to s.c. or when we would visit Florida. My deepest sympathy goes out to the entire famuly.

Fun times and fond memories, we will miss you but only for a short time. Till we meet again,  we will remember all the fun times!

David was preceded in death by his son Leslie David Watson, Jr., mother Thelma Watson, and sister Rebecca McKinney. David is survived by his wife of 45 years Gloria Watson, son Donald Watson, friend Debbie Stanley, father Edward Watson, sister Sue Webb, brothers Kenny Kirkpatrick and Randy (Janet) Watson, Granddaughters Ceara, Tiffany, Kayla, Christin &amp; Leslie, and 2 great grandsons Cameron &amp; Levi.
