Linda I. Koenig

KOENIG, Linda I. (Cleveland), 66, of Brandon, FL, formerly of Vincennes, IN and Plainfield, IN, passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2013 with her family by her side. Linda was born on March 28, 1947 to Kenneth and Evelyn (Marvel) Cleveland in Vanderburg County, IN. She married James L. Koenig of Edwardsport, IN on December 17, 1967. They both attended Indiana State University. After graduation she taught at Central Elementary in Plainfield, IN. She left the teaching profession in 1977 to become a full-time mom to her two daughters. In 1984 the family moved to Brandon, FL. Linda restarted her career teaching elementary students in the bay area until she retired to become a professional “Nini” to her grandchildren. She was a devoted Christian who spread God’s word in her everyday actions. Linda is survived by her husband, James, and their two daughters, Andrea Graves (Johnny) and Denise Cebollero (Eugenio) and her grandchildren Kendall Mobley, and Shawn and Kayla Graves. She is also survived by her mother, Evelyn Brittingham, stepfather, Rodger Brittingham, and step-sister, Anita Brittingham, all of Fort Branch, IN. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Cleveland. At Linda’s request, no services will be held. You may make contributions in her memory to any cancer center.
