Scannell, Louise, 52, of Valrico, passed away November 27, 2011. She graduated from University of Illinois and later earned a Masters Degree from University of Phoenix. She was a dedicated employee for Verizon for 23 years. Louise was an active parishioner of Nativity Catholic Church, where she was a member of St. Monica’s Circle. She was preceded in death by her father, Mr. Francis Provost. She is survived by James, her husband of 24 years; sons, Ryan and Andrew; mother, Pauline Provost; brothers, Bob Provost and wife Heidi, and Daniel Provost; an extended family and numerous friends. A visitation will be held 7p.m. -9 p.m., Friday, December 2, 2011, at Nativity Catholic Church. A funeral mass will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Nativity Catholic Church, with interment following at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CollegeAmerica, and given directly to the family for an education fund for her sons.
