Leffler, Peggy A., 65, of Valrico, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2014. She was born on July 15, 1948 in Logan, Ohio to the late Robert Herman and Anna Mae Orris Binkley. She worked for Hillsborough Community College for the past 28 years. Peggy enjoyed going to the beach, gardening, sitting poolside, but most of all loved Sunday dinners with her family. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She was predeceased by her husband, Billy Joe Leffler. She is survived by her son, Scott Ricketts (Kelly); daughter, Wendy Pettys (Tony); “Daughter of her Heart”, Katrina Heineking; brother, David Binkley (Sue) and Dan Binkley (Linda); sister, Cooky Hughes (Rob); 3 grandchildren, Taylor and Justin Pettys and Hannah Ricketts; granddogs, Ticky and BoBo; and her cat, Big Fuzzy; as well as a loving circle of friends. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 20 at 3 PM with visitation one hour prior at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home. Peggy will deeply missed by her family and friends but will live on in their hearts and memories.
