SMITH, Marilyn English, 90, of St. Petersburg, entered into rest September 26. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard E. Smith; first husband, James H. English, Jr.; and sister, Shirley Frances McGahee. Marilyn is survived by her sons, James H. English (Gail), Gary H. English (Connie); daughter, Gail Yates (Carroll); brother, A. Harman Jones; grandchildren, Jimmy English (Heather), Kristen Laughinghouse (Jon), Sean Yates, Marla Katarelos (Nick), Traci English, Erin Alpha Basinger (Davey), Elizabeth Edwards (Aaron); 11 great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be held 2 pm Saturday, October 4 at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, Brandon. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Suncoast Hospice in her memory. Marilyn will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but will live on in their hearts and memories.
