Sandoval, Mario J., 87, passed away August 15, 2010. Born in Mexico, Mario became a U.S. citizen and proudly served in the Army during WW II, wounded in Germany he was awarded the Purple Heart. He later worked as an inspector at nuclear plants and as a welder. He is survived by Bertie, his wife of 40 years; sons; Jimmy Davidson (Sarah), Bobby Davidson (Lucille); daughter, Jeanette Gufford (Bill); grandsons; Scott Davidson (Nikki), Greg Davidson (Amy); 4 great grandchildren; and one brother. A visitation will be held 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at Stowers Funeral Home. A committal service will take place 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at Florida National Cemetery.
