Melba was predeceased by her husband Carl D. Pittman, her brothers Boyd, Charles, and Theodore, and her sisters Betty and Sara.
She is survived by her son David (Betsy) Pittman, her daughter Pam (Gale) Lane, and her grandson Zachary (Danielle) Lane.
Melba was a lifelong waitress that loved serving people. She did not know anyone as a stranger and she loved her church very much.
A visitation for Melba will be held Friday, July 21, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, 2323 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511, followed by a funeral service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
