

Michael was born on September 29th, 1963, to Edward Lee and Sandra Sue (LeRoy) Davis in Kansas City, Kansas.Michael was united in marriage with Kimberly Renee Davis on October 6th, 1989, in Panama City, Florida. They spent 41 years together raising their four children and creating a life filled with treasured memories.
Michael Davis is survived by his wife Kimberly, His children Nicole Paruas (Otto), Sandra Moriarity (Adam), Kasey Davis (Nicholas), Daniel Davis; His mother Sandra Brown and Step-father Ronald Brown; two sisters Cindy Read (Edward), Pamela Pflumm, Step brother Steven Brown. Grandchildren Aaron (Bear), Nicholas (Nico), Kaylee (Bug), Ayden (Aydu), Addyson (Pretty Girl) Grayson (Wildman); numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Edward L Davis, sister Sharon Mullins, Nephew Matthew Stechmann, uncles Joe and Pat Leroy, cousins Daniel Tinder and Debbie Tinder.
As a child, Michael fell in love with mechanics and avionics. He loved taking things apart to see how they worked. He went on to study at Maple Woods Community College and Devry Institute of Technology. He was also a volunteer firefighter and president of the Radio Control-Flying Club. Michael even spent time as a civilian in the Gulf war taking care of a Generals aircraft. He is known for being the best at what He did and truly kept the skies a safer place for 36 years.
He obtained his pilot’s license in 1989. After obtaining his license he loved flying his family to Florida every year for vacation. Until making his dream of living in Florida a reality in 1996. Then making his ultimate dream of being part owner of a Cessna 182 a reality (N3152Q).
Michael was an avid Kansas Chief’s and Tampa Bay Lighting fan. He was a certified scuba diver. He had a love for adventures.
Michaels’s legacy will not only live on through his children and grandkids but the numerous people he educated and touched through his career.
He was a devoted husband, a proud father and paw-paw and a best friend to many. He will be missed on earth but his legacy continues to live on.
Friends and family will gather for a Celebration of Life that will occur Saturday, May 20, 2023, from 2:00 - 4:00 PM at Arise Church Brandon, 401 Pauls Drive, Brandon, FL 33511.
This will be a time of celebration. No formal dressing. The family is requesting that you please wear Chiefs, Royals, Tampa bay lightning clothes, very relaxed. Just think Mike Davis when getting ready.
