Michelina Telese

Michelina Telese, age 87, of Brandon, Florida passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022. Michelina Telese was predeceased by her parents Carmine and Virginia Petrone, her loving husband Carmine Telese and her three siblings. She is survived by her son and his wife Rocco Telese and Francine and their sons Daniel and Vincent. She is survived by her daughter and her husband Maria Stanisic and Gordan and their four daughters Grace (husband William Hoffman), Diana (husband Bryan Looney), Loren and Angelica. She has two loving great granddaughters Isabelle and Natalie Hoffman and one baby granddaughter on the way.

Michelina was born in Sturno, Italy on September 22nd 1934. She married her husband Carmine in 1958. Later immigrated to Glen Cove, NY in 1969 where she lived most of her life. She was a devoted Roman Catholic patron to the Church of St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Glen Cove, NY. She dedicated her life to serving the Lord and the Orphan’s of St. Anthony in Padova, Italy. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren whole heartedly. She made amazing Italian meals including her famous baked ziti, pasta fagioli, and home-made pasta. She loved to sing and dance and was always joking around in her young years. As her Alzheimers progressed in her senior years her spirit slowly dimmed. She lived out her last years in Florida surrounded by her son and his family. She will be truly missed as her children grieve their last living parent and her grandchildren grieve their last living grandparent. She will live in our hearts forever. We will always have fond memories of the young Nonna Michelina.
