I always respected and enjoyed Pat though only knowing him passingly. He was always the welcoming,  gentle and calm presence behind the shoe-shine window and in the change rooms at Avila. We spoke off and on over the years and we shared information about our respective backgrounds, our work and our families. I knew how much he enjoyed his work, his  family and golf.  Several years ago,  I became a cart owner person and shortly thereafter Covid came to roost. I have not visited the clubhouse since and unfortunately lost contact with him then. I was so saddened to hear of his loss to all of us.  My thoughts are with all of you and I hope your memories provide you with some comfort during this time. My condolences to all of you.

It truly was a pleasure to know Pat FerrarioHe was a wonderful person and one of the nicest men I have ever met. He will be sorely missed and may he rest in peace. 

Anyone having Pat as a friend was truly blessed. He was one of the kindest and most caring people we have ever known. He always spoke lovingly of his family which was what he treasured most. His kindness and good humor were also blessings to the students he taught over the years. Everyone who knew Pat feels a great loss.

My condolences to the Ferrario family on their loss.  I saw Pat almost every weekend while he worked at Avila.  He was always cheerful, friendly and did his best to make me feel welcome at Avila.  He will be missed by all of us.

Pat has always been a helpful, friendly and knowledgeable guy as he forfilled his duties at the Avila Club. Members were all fortunate to have him keeping high standards in his areas of responsibility. Pat also almost always seemed to have a kind word for the guys he was working with, and showed an interest in their golf games, and their personal lives as well.
I have missed Pat these past few months. His presence in Heaven will be a delight to all his fellow believers and family members who have preceded him to Gods spectacular home. Pats new Heavenly home for Gods loved ones who loved God while living and loving others here on earth will be a wonderful reward for a life well lived.

My sincere thoughts and prayers to the entire Ferrario Family at this very difficult time.  I was fortunate to work with Pat for the last nineteen years and quite simply, you could not find a better person than Pat Ferrario.

Pat was one of the best people I have ever met, always made you feel like you were the only thing that mattered and loved his stories.  Heaven is a better place with him.  

I was very sorry to read of Pat's passing. We worked together at Tech for many years. He was an outstanding teacher and coach but more than that a fine gentleman highly regarded by students and colleagues. I passed ROOM 323 many times and the experience was always the same--observing students learning and enjoying the experience. My deepest sympathy to Mauri and family.

R.I.P. Pat! He did an excellent to outstanding job teaching the students. He will be remembered by all the students he taught and coached!

I'm so sorry to hear of this, condolences to the family. Mr. Ferrario was one of my favorite teachers at Tech High,  funny and strict he was the best. I'll never forget him crumbling up papers and tossing them in the can like a basketball. He'd make 9 out of 10. He will be missed and never forgotten. "Class of 72"

I first met Pat when I was hired as a teacher at Scranton Tech. To say Pat could tell a story was an understatement. I was one of the many faculty members who would hurry to the teachers room to hear him hold court. At the time I was the Cross- Country Coach at Prep and Pat served in the same position at Tech. It was his idea that we would share a bus and take the kids every Saturday to an Invitational. It was on these bus rides that I got to know the real Pat Ferrario. Every young Coach needs a mentor and Pat was mine. He was organized, a motivator and his kids loved him. Thanks for the memories Pat. Maury and family, we were so sorry to learn of Pat's passing.  I will always remember the times we had together on Tech's faculty.  His humor and compassion were greatly appreciated.  Susie and I greatly appreciated how .Pat and you treated us on our Florida trips. God gained an angel. 

Maury, and family, We are so sorry for your loss.   Pat was one of the greatest guys I have ever met. We met 27 years ago, on a golf course, and instantly had a great bond. He was a organizer and would plan golf trips all over Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Alabama. He was the first commissioner of our golf group,  that now has over twenty players. He was a true gentleman, and a very caring person. He loved his family, and so proud of grandkids. REST IN PEACE, Pat.

Mauri and family, Carole and I were deeply saddened to hear of Pat's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this most sorrowful time. May your cherished memories of him bring you peace and comfort in the days ahead.  Carole and I used to have cafeteria duty with Pat at Scranton Tech. We always looked forward to his humorous stories, but most of all, we really appreciated his friendship. God Bless  

Pat's death effects not only family and friends but those who knew him through the memories and stories of those who knew him best. That is how I knew Pat and how much he meant to Maury and his family. It is through those continuing stories and memories that he will live on in all of our hearts.
