Smith, Pearl Ruth, 79, of Tampa, Florida went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 16, 2015. She was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Tampa. Pearl leaves behind her loving husband of 31 years, Truman Smith; three sons, Randy Smith (Dorothy), Phil Smith (Debbie), and Tommy Smith (Judy); daughter, Susan Merriett (Edson); sister, Mildred Bean; and several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held at on Wednesday, January 21 from 5pm-7pm; funeral service will be held at 10am on Thursday, January 22, both services will be at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home of Brandon.
