MELI, Raymond Christopher, 56, of Brandon passed away, Wednesday, April 11, 2012. Born in Mericourt, France and raised in Buffalo, NY. Raymond retired after 25 years with New York State Department of Corrections and was also an United States Navy Veteran. He enjoyed reading mostly history to religion, always thirsty for more knowledge. He adored his family and friends and was always known for bringing a smile to the faces of anyone he encountered. Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 35 years, Rosalina Meli; son, Vincenzo C. Meli; daughters, Via and Christina Meli; parents, Vincenzo Meli and Paulette Pozycki; brother, Renaldo Meli; uncle, Santo Meli; aunt, Maria Zaccaria and many other family and friends. Funeral Mass will be held on Sunday, April 15, at 3:00 PM with visitation two hours prior at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, Brandon. Raymond will be deeply missed and forever loved.
