Robert Martin Liebrand, age 56, of Brandon, Florida passed away on Tuesday November 27, 2018. Rob was born October 12, 1962 in Maryland where he grew up and was the truly gifted one in the family as he was athletic, performed as a singer in various ensembles, enjoyed drawing, and played a variety of instruments. Unfortunately, Rob was hampered by chronic asthma since infancy but he did not let his illness keep him from wherever his talents and passions led him. He moved to Tampa, Florida in the mid-80's, establishing a new chapter in his life. Rob loved spending time with friends laughing and enjoying life. He spent his leisure time kayaking, biking, skiing, playing tennis, and gardening. He was also a vociferous reader, exploring a wide variety of fictional and non-fictional books. He was a sophisticated stock researcher and enjoyed collecting coins. Rob tried to maintain a healthy mind and body and used holistic medicine as much as possible. He was a caring person who looked out for his friends. He settled in as an employee of the United States Postal Service, a career that spanned over 20 years right up to his passing from cancer.
Rob is survived by his parents, Arlyne Liebrand and Martin Liebrand (Gloria); brother,; Tom (Carolyn); sister, Elaine (John); niece, Zoe; nephews, Mikey, Trevor, Torry, Andy; step-brothers, David, Jonathan; step-sister, Rachel.
