ALVAREZ, Rosa Ismenia, 96, of Valrico entered into rest December 21, 2015. Rosa was born in Bluefields, Nicaragua to Calasanz and Maria Alvarez. She was a teacher in the Nicaraguan school system before moving to the U.S. Rosa was a member of Nativity Catholic Church. She is survived by her brothers, Calazanz Alvarez, Raymond Alvarez; sister, Danelia Bell; and numerous extended family. A funeral mass will be celebrated 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Nativity Catholic Church, entombment to follow in Hillsboro Memorial Gardens.
