Mary Ruth "Dot" Jent, 95, of Turkey Creek, Florida passed away April 7th, 2018 at Solaris Health Care in Plant City, FL. Dot was born in Hartford, Alabama on December 7, 1922. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Jent; son, Jerry Jent; parents, Arthur and Era Day; brothers, Alton and Billy Day; sisters, Lucille Procchi, Linda Rosa, Voncille Kelley and Mildred Hacsi. She is survived by her sons, Larry Jent (Loretta) of Turkey Creek and Dennis Jent (Sherri) of Wesley Chapel; sister, Robbie Farmer; sister in laws, Gloria Day and Peggy Liles; grandchildren, Sherry Whaley, Larry “Wayne” Jent Jr., Kristi Jent and Dennis “Denny” Jent Jr.; six great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Dot was a member of First Baptist Church of Brandon. She was a graduate of Turkey Creek High School.
