Thomas Stanley Rohlfsen

Thomas Stanley Rohlfsen was born on April 12, 1943, in Le Mars, Iowa, the oldest of three sons born to Stanley and Lillian (Frerichs) Rohlfsen. He graduated from Le Mars High School in 1961. He furthered his education at Iowa State University and Westmar College in LeMars, graduating with a degree in business.

Tom was united in marriage to Myrna Lea Gilmore on April 17, 1965, at the United Methodist Church of Le Mars. They made their home in LeMars farming with his father and brother. In 1985, the family moved to Florida and settled in Tampa where he did residential repair and remodeling. He could often to be found helping family, friends, and neighbors with anything that needed to be fixed. Tom and Myrna enjoyed traveling during retirement and spending time with their grandchildren.

Tom is survived by daughters, Robin (Brad) Jurrens of Highlands Ranch, CO, and Tracey (Ron) Wigginton of Tampa, FL; son, Todd (Joanne) Rohlfsen of Valrico, FL; grandchildren, Kayla (Andy) Crowder, Connor Jurrens, Sarah Rohlfsen, Carson Wigginton and Cole Wigginton; sisters-in-law, Twila Neumayer, Sandra Klitzke, Georgia Rohlfsen, and Terry Rohlfsen; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Myrna on October 30, 2023; brothers, David Rohlfsen and Jim Rohlfsen; parents-in-law, Gail and Blanche Gilmore; and in-laws, Vern Klitzke, Gerald and Kela Nelson, and Larry Neumayer.
