Timmie Kay Morgan

Timmie was born December 1. 1948 to Hollace and Maxine Wetherington she was a little girl from Homerville Georgia. Moved to Brandon, Florida as a child and never left. Timmie grew up with two sisters, Jane and Dorinda and brother, Hollace. She was the mediator of the family growing up. She always wanted to help everyone and help fix problems. She met her love of her life in high school and married Danny in 1967. Timmie was a dedicated wife her entire life. She always did everything in her power to make her husband happy. They had three children. She was a loving mother and taught her children to be self-efficient and to be kind to all.

Timmie sacrificed her own needs for the family. She was an active mom. She loved to fish and taught her kids how to fish and how to clean fish. She once skinned a six-and-a-half foot rattlesnake that her son killed. She wasn't scared of anything. She was the handyman around the house. She would change electrical outlets, fix the sink or whatever that was needed to be done she would do. Timmie was extremely artistic. Her drawings hang all over the house. She sculpted walls, painted, carved wood, and sewed; she loved to create. You name an artistic hobby and I bet she tried it. She loved her yard. And loved planting, pruning, anything to be in the yard. She passed that passion onto her daughter. She was a funny person and loved to make you laugh. All her children picked up that trait. She really instilled happiness.

She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

She was a great mom, sister, grandmother and wife. She is survived by her husband, Danny; daughter, Jennifer; son, Jody; son-in-law, Michael; grandchildren, Jasmine, Jaiden; sister, Jane. She was preceded in death by her son, Jason; parents; sister, Dorinda; brother, Hollace.

A funeral service for Timmie will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at Stowers Funeral Home, 401 West Brandon Boulevard, Brandon, Florida. Interment to follow in Limona Cemetery, 1698 Limona Road, Brandon, Florida.
