

Vincent was a World War II Veteran and served proudly in the United States Navy. He served as a Seabee in the 15th Battalion.
Vincent worked for CSX for over 30 years, where he worked locally as a carman and eventually retired. He enjoyed growing various types of vegetables and growing many different types of orange and grapefruit trees. He enjoyed spending time with his family and serving as a deacon in his church. He was a member of National Association of Retired and Veteran Railway Employees NARVRE; and served as a deacon for over 46 years at Southside Baptist Church of Brandon.
Vincent is survived by his wife, Evelyn (Wadsworth) Forbes; son, Danny Forbes; grandchildren, Tracy (Mark) Kawer, Stacy (Dennis) Brackett, Ginger Talerico, Lee (Mindy) Forbes; great-grandchildren, Madison (Matt) Castillo, Marissa Brackett, Mason Singletary, Logan Singletary, Luke Brackett, Molly Cress, Dillion Forbes, Gianna Talerico, Hayden Cress, Isabella Talerico; great great granddaughter, Emerie Rose Castillo; many extended family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, Vincent was preceded in death by his daughter, Nancy Spencer; siblings, Norma, Margie, Audrey, Sissy, and Bill.
A Celebration of Vincent’s life will be held at 2pm on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Bell Shoals Baptist Church 2102 Bell Shoals Rd, Brandon, FL 33511. He will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery on Monday, March 28, 2022 at 12:30 pm 6502 SW 102nd Avenue Bushnell, Florida 33513.
