LEWIS, Virginia M. “Ginny” passed away peacefully June 6, 2016. Born June 18, 1925 in Kentucky, she raised her family in Ohio with her husband of 52 years before moving to Florida in 1979. Ginny was the matriarch of her family who enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her family, her little dog Lucky and her many friends and neighbors in Hacienda Heights in Riverview. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alloy P. Lewis; daughter-in-law, Lorraine (Jerry). Survivors include her three sons, Jerry, Dale (Heidi) of Malvern, Ohio; Gary (Ellen) of Palmetto, Fla.; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Ginny came from a family of 10 children and is survived by one sister, Etta Mutigli of Waynesburg, Ohio. A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
