PAGE-THARRINGTON, Virginia A., 89, of Brandon, peacefully passed away August 11, 2012. She was born in Homeland, Fla. July 30, 1923 to Tom and Eula Page and raised in Sebring. Virginia was genuinely sweet, kind, witty, and selfless, always thinking of others. She was a devoted wife, caring mother, and a favorite aunt. Virginia was predeceased by her husband, Milton “Easy” Tharrington; and three sisters, Clarice, Doris, and Colleen. Virginia is survived by her sons, Tom Tharrington of Nashville, Tenn. and Trevin Tharrington of Brandon, Fla.; sister, Catherine Jackson of Lakeland, Fla.; extended family which includes niece Geraldine Henley and nephew Adrian Jackson, friend Marianne Fors, and her friends at Brandon Health and Rehabilitation Center, including Sandy “Boo” Russell, Carolyn Glover, Amber Patee, Sharon Allen, Kate Weeks, Phyllis Seger, Ruth DeRosia, Greg Laugelli, Kathy Heyboer, Carol Copeland and many more. A private graveside service will be held when Virginia is laid to rest in the Page family plot in Homeland Cemetery.
