

Born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida. He graduated from Dixie Hollins High School in 1986, and went to Clearwater Christian College where he graduated in 1990 with a BS in Physical Education. He taught P.E. and coached for 32 years, 26 of them being at Central Baptist Christian School.
Bill married his college love, Rachel, and together they shared decades of a love-filled marriage. At the beginning of their union they resided in Islamorada until they moved back to the Tampa Bay area. By then they had welcomed a baby girl, Kristen, and Bill became a devoted dad. Bill supported Kristen in more ways than simply being a loving parent. He also made sure to be there for her as she grew by coaching and supporting her love and involvement in various types of sports throughout her youth. His love and support shaped her into the daughter he will always be proud of.
Bill was passionate about sports (#1 Gator Fan) and coaching. He also had a deep passion for serving others and his faith. His love for God, leading him to faithfully serving the Lord and his church daily as he mentored hundreds of students throughout his coaching and teaching career.
He is survived by his mother, Donna; wife, Rachel; daughter, Kristen; brothers Robert Jr. (Teresa), and Brian (Cher).
He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Sr.

Visitation will be held on December 13, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Providence Baptist Church, located at 5416 Providence Road, Riverview, Florida, 33578.
The funeral service will follow at the same location from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
A committal service is scheduled for December 13, 2025, 3:00 pm at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens, situated at 2323 West Brandon Blvd., Brandon, Florida, 33511.
