William Leslie Younker, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on the afternoon of March 19, 2026, at the Tarpon Bayou Center where he had resided for approximately 18 months since the passing of his wife. He previously resided in Seffner, Florida, for over 50 years. Born on July 30, 1942, in South Bend, Ind. William was 83 years old at the time of his passing.
William proudly served his country as a member of the Air Force and was a dedicated member of Holy Innocents Episcopal Church, where he was actively involved.
He is survived by his children, William and Crystal; grandchildren, Crisann, Jackson, and Jeremy; and great-grandchild, Quinn. He was predeceased by his loving wife Elizabeth and his son, Maurice.
William will be remembered in his community for his willingness to help his friends and neighbors, and his ability to fix just about anything. His legacy of service will continue to inspire those who knew him.
A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2026 in Sunset Memory Gardens, 11005 US Highway 301 North, Thonotosassa, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations in his memory be made to Suncoast Hospice of Pinellas, Holy Innocents Episcopal Church, or a charity of your choice.
