Dena Wolski

Dena passed peacefully with family by her side at the Stedman Community Hospice on December 5th, 2021. Daughter of the late Evelyn and John Wolski, she was also predeceased by her sisters Nancy and Debbie, and brother David. Survived by her son Aaron, daughter-in-law Shannon, daughter Lorraine, grandson Kevin, her brother-in-law Doug, and her beloved dog Molly. Coming from a long line of health care professionals, Dena was a beloved and long-time nurse of John Noble Home and Participation House of Brantford where she cared for residents like they were her own family. Dena loved and will be missed by her long-time friends Kathy Gratton and Judi Klink. The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to cousins Cathy Reko, Susan Groulx, and friend Sue McKenzie for their dedicated and loving support during this difficult time. A special thank-you to Dr. Lee of the BHG Cancer Clinic, Dr. Trevor and nurse Tracy of Stedman Community Hospice. The family will receive friends at the “THORPE BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL”, 96 West Street, Brantford on Friday, December 10, 2021 from 11am – 12pm. A Celebration of her life will be held in the Thorpe Suite at 12pm. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stedman Community Hospice or Participation House of Brantford. Memories and condolences may be shared online below.
