Peacefully, after a short illness on October 25th, 2013, at the Brantford General Hospital, in her 91st year. Predeceased by her husband Norman (1996). Beloved mother of Brian (Bev), Pat (Matt), and Neil (Trish). Grandmother to Amy, Karl (Jade), Andrew (Matt), Liam and Emily. Great- Grandma to Christina and Amanda. Survived by her sister Leonora. Long time member and sadly missed by the “Sheridan Street Gang”. The family will receive friends at the “THORPE BROTHERS’ FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL”, 96 West Street, on Monday, October 28th, 2013 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm; with Parish Prayers at 6:30pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church, 133 Murray Streeton Tuesday, October 30th, 2013 at 11am. Interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
