Sharon, Darlene Karen and Families,

My heart aches for all of you, Please know that we are keeping you in our prayers.
When i think of your Mom, its her voice that is my strongest memory, it was deep and soothing and when i close my eyes I can actually here her. I LOVED the sound of her voice! When we lived in Toronto and someone from the Island came to visit, I was always excited because it meant that we would be going to Niagara Falls and that meant we would be stopping to visit all of you. I have a lot of memories visiting your Mom & Dad playing with all of you and the laughter was always loud. I played my first game of twister at your house.
Your Mom and Dad are my godparents and they will forever hold a place in my heart and the kindness they have always given to me.
Love to all of you
Charlene & Fred

Sharon, Darlene, Karen and Families:
Your Mom and I have not always had the chance to chat often but we have shared the kind of friendship that grows deeper with every year. Your Mom could have me laughing in the first two minutes of our calls! We have shared many smiles and also many tears to each other. I have always counted her as one of my many blessings. I have so many memories of our years together in Toronto and many summer jaunts on PEI. Those memories will stay with me forever.
My prayers are with all of you and know that she will be laughing it up with your Dad!
Love Always
Marie

Sharon, Darlene, Karen and families:

We're so sorry to hear about Emma's passing. She's certainly knew how to live life to the fullest and through her jokes, stories, music and smile she could definitely brighten a room. It's been great to be able to look through all the old wonderful photos that have been shared.

She'll be missed at the parties in PEI but I'm sure if we listen closely, we'll still be able to hear her rendition of "Wasn't That a Party".

Love,
Jason & Katherine

Dear Karen, Sharon, Darlene and Families,

We were sad to hear the news about Emma and our thoughts and prayers go out to you during this difficult time. We will always have fond memories of Emma and her sense of humour and her love for having fun. It was always a great time to listen to her play guitar and sing at our Smith family parties. While she may have been small in stature she definitely had a strong and beautiful singing voice.

Love,

Jeff, Janice, Brendan and Rylan McQuaid

Emma lived life to the fullest and found humor in everything. Everyone that knew Emma, knew how much she loved her family, especially her grandchildren. A bright light was extinguished, and yet another gaping hole in our hearts. As cousin Denise said so eloquently, "someone up there is calling them all home." I imagine our mom, Marion, Mary and now Emma reuniting with family that we all loved so dearly that have passed before us, May you all RIP.

I'll never forget the pool day I had with Jaycee, Emma, and the Alford family this summer. I loved hearing her stories about moving to Ontario and being in a band. She truly knew how to make you laugh and put a smile on anyone's face! I'm sending all of my love to Jayc, Karen, Greg, and Dalton during this difficult time.
