Genevieve (Jenny) Forsythe

Peacefully, surrounded by her family, she went to be with her Lord on Sunday, March 2nd at St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre in her 91st year.

Dearly beloved wife of the late Wallace James (1992); loved mother of Susanne and her husband Bob Sass, and Lynn and her husband Paul Petrie; loved grandmother of Tammy (Steve Cole) Erica (Jason Quayle), Matthew (Susan) and Julie (Nathan Embry); loved great-grandmother of Joshua and Aaron Cole, Timothy Quayle, Kyle and Abby Embry and Cody Petrie.

Genevieve was predeceased by her parents Kenneth (1980) and May (1995) McCombs and brother Kenneth (1973).

Jenny worked at the Bell Telephone, Fiske Leather Goods, The Christian Light Bookstore and was a tutor through the Laubach Literacy of Canada Council. Jenny was an active member of Queensway Baptist Church since 1956, serving in many areas of youth ministries.

The family will receive friends at the “THORPE BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL” 96 West St. on Tuesday, March 4th from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Wednesday, March 5th at 11 a.m. Interment at Mount Hope Cemetery.
