Helen Bridget Power

Loving sister of Owen J. Power (Noreen), and the late Jeffery J. Power (Sonya), predeceased by baby sister Mary-Theresa Power. Loving aunt of Mary-Theresa (Michael), M. Timothy (Karen), Christopher S. (Tricia), Shelagh (Anil), Jeffery (Adele), Anne-Marie (Steven), Anthony (Andrea). Loving Great-Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Helen was a long-time member of the St. Pius X Parish, CWL and Church Prayer Groups. Helen was a long-time teacher of Special Education with the Waterloo Catholic District School Board. She enjoyed traveling, family celebrations and holidays. The family would like to thank the staffs at Amber Lea Retirement Home, the Brantford General Hospital, the Hamilton General Hospital, and the team at THORPE BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME for their outstanding and compassionate care. The family is especially grateful to Helen's amazing neighbours John and Nancy, Jim and Ruth, and Galina. There will be no visitation at THORPE BROTHERS' FUNERAL HOME before Mass. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 9 Waverly St., on Saturday, July 17th, 2021 at 10am, followed by interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or for the procurement of Mass Cards would be truly appreciated.
